Dear Parents:

Thank you for your support during football season! We’ve already made some great memories and the year can only get better from here! I would like to ask everyone to remember the rules of the Spartanettes Dance Team and the agreement we all made at the beginning of the year. Please help your dancer arrive to every performance early. If you think about arriving 5 minutes earlier than the set time, it’s very hard to be late! Also, if your dancer is going to be out of practice, please contact myself, Coach Brewer, or Coach Barnes personally. We have had too many absences and basketball season will suffer with half the absences we had during football! With that being said, thank you for supporting the girls, we all appreciate it!

Additionally, we have recently purchased new t-shirts and hoodie/pant sets for the entire team! We are very excited as these were designed and agreed upon by the whole team! The total price for every piece will be $50 per dancer. That is for all 3 items, which is a steal! I will not be able to give your dancer her apparel until the items are paid for, so the due date for this money will be Tuesday, November 10. If you would like to write a check, please make it out to Hazelwood East High School – as the money has already come out of our account, and we will need to replenish it!

The last item of business – Missouri State Dance Team Competition! In order for the dancers to participate in this event, they must have an individual waiver form. This 2 page form is attached. The due date for this form is also Tuesday, November 10. This information is crucial, and I must turn it in mid-November to secure our spot at the competition.

I will send home a schedule very soon of our basketball schedule, but as a heads up – here’s what you need to know now:

November 30-December 4 – MANDATORY practice EVERY DAY

December 5 – Competition at Lindbergh High School (all day)

December 15 – first home basketball game!
